Original clean hotel with extremely helpful staff who made the stay a perfectly pleasant experience. Strategic location to all major areas of interest, good services and comfortable bed. Again, walking distance to a domed Norman-era church. Tasty and good hot chocolate, coffee, and croissants in the morning.

The hotel is perfect, the rooms are new-fashioned. The staff are fairly friendly and amicable and provide a great service. Every time in Palermo, I choose this place.

The location is excellent. Via Roma is the main shopping street, close to almost everywhere by walk. The price was very good because I had a promotion. Breakfast can be called good if you like to eat only sweet in the morning... The 'bathroom' is nice, clean, comfortable except the shower... Cleaning ladies are nice and smiling. The elevator is lovely, very old and nostalgic. But not easy to use. However, in Sicily, elevator is rare.
The shower is a real catastrophe! It is impossible to keep clean of hair because the shower fixture is fix on the wall, you cannot move it at all. Your body doesn't feel clean with hair everywhere (esp. For women)... Water pressure is poor. Also difficult to balance (hot-cold). There is a shower curtain, very uncomfortable, and water is going out. You cannot move in the shower without touching it. Very small shower corner, they need to renovate. I had dark rooms, without balcony available. The tv is a joke... Sometimes A.C. didn't work. The staff is strange, director is ok, kind and helpful, but the receptionist in the evening is not. And they never smile...feels like they don't want you to be here! The breakfast is only with sweet things, too much sugar... But good cappuccino.

Clean rooms and a helpful, friendly staff.
Breakfasts, included in the price, were consisted of pure, sugary carbohydrates. Although, the coffee was excellent. No stall in the shower to minimize splashing.

A comfortable bath tube available. The room was quite spaceous and not very expensive.
The water discharge of the bathtube was smelling bad. Also the bath room was slippery, as a lot water fell on the floor after taking a bath.

The breakfast was superb except for the pastry, and all the food was SAVOURY. The location was peaceful and ideal, close to a railway station, so it was really easy to travel around. We ordered lunch at La Bottega Del Principe, located close to the venue.

The breakfast is too simple, even more simple than a hostel/B&B.
